North Penn-Mansfield's Jaime Palmer drained a lay-up, kicking off the Friday night girl's basketball game against Sayre.

After the initial points, Sayre was only able to score 3 times in the remainder of the first quarter. The Lady Tigers were able to gain a considerable ten point lead. The second quarter was much of the same with the Lady Tigers' offense pushing past the Lady Redskins and paving their way for more successful shots. The halftime score was 37-11.

North Penn-Mansfield widening the gap between the two teams on the scoreboard. The third quarter was a struggle for Sayre's offense trying to push through North Penn-Mansfield's powerful defense. Sayre's shots grew sparse in the final quarter as the Lady Tigers were able to hold them at bay. The Lady Tigers seemed confident that they had this game under wraps.

That proved to be the case when the game ended with a final score of 62-24, North Penn-Mansfield never once dropping their lead.
